Allied Health Assistant Service
The extra motivation and assistance you need to work towards your goals
Allied Health Assistant Service
An Allied Health Assistant (AHA) is “a healthcare worker who has demonstrated competencies to provide person-centred, evidence-informed therapy and support individuals and groups, to help protect, restore and maintain optimal function and promote independence and well-being.”
An AHA works under the delegation and supervision of an Allied Health Professional to deliver goal-based therapy programs.
Our AHA Christie is AHANA (Allied Health Assistant National Association) registered and has completed the highest level of certification, allowing her to work 1:1 with clients on therapy programs that have been delegated by our Neuro Physio’s. Her introduction to Coffs Neuro Physio has provided our clients the invaluable opportunity to increase their dosage of practice and maximise their outcomes. Whether it be in our gym, their homes, the hydrotherapy pool, or other areas in the community, Christie may be the extra motivation you need to help you work towards your goals.
