Vertigo and Dizziness

Effective rehabilitation for balance, stability and confidence.

Vertigo, dizziness, and balance problems can be incredibly disruptive — affecting your confidence, ability to move safely, and overall quality of life. At Coffs Neuro Physio, we offer expert assessment and rehabilitation for people experiencing vestibular conditions that cause these symptoms.

Vestibular disorders can arise from a range of causes, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, Meniere’s disease, post-concussion syndrome, and age-related balance decline. Symptoms may include spinning sensations, unsteadiness, visual blurring, nausea, or feeling like you might fall.

Our experienced physiotherapists are trained in vestibular rehabilitation, a specific area of therapy that focuses on retraining the brain and balance systems to adapt and recover. Treatment is tailored to your specific diagnosis and may include:

  • Canalith repositioning manoeuvres for BPPV
  • Balance and gaze stability retraining
  • Education on symptom management and triggers
  • Graded movement exposure to reduce motion sensitivity
  • Postural control and fall prevention strategies

We take a whole-person approach — assessing not just your vestibular system, but also your strength, mobility, confidence and any fear of movement. We aim to restore your ability to move freely, navigate everyday environments, and reduce your risk of falls.

If dizziness or vertigo is interfering with your daily life, you don’t have to put up with it. Many vestibular conditions respond well to targeted therapy — and improvement is possible.
